RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUPPORT OF THE APPLICATION

TO THE US DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

ADMINISTRATION, RECOMMENDS ACCEPTANCE OF THE CEDS FIVE (5) YEAR UPDATE OF 2003 AND DESIGNATES THE TCRPC AS THE CEDS COMMITTEE

FOR THE THREE COUNTY DISTRICT

RESOLUTION #03-300

WHEREAS, the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission (TCRPC) has prepared the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) five (5) year update in 2003 for the Michigan district composed of the counties of Eaton, Clinton and Ingham; and

WHEREAS, the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission Board of Commissioners as the CEDS Committee actively supports and currently participates in the district activities for the Tri-County district.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners supports the application to the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration, recommends acceptance of the CEDS Five (5) Year Update of 2003 and designates the TCRPC as the CEDS Committee for the three county district, for the benefit of the inhabitants within the aforementioned district.
